Course Outline

• Recitation of the Quran focusing on the specific Arabic accent.
• Practice in Recitation with Tarteel (slow) and Hadar (fluent).
• Visual recognition of how Quranic letter forms change in complex calligraphy.
• Precision in timing: How much harakaat must be extended.
• Mastering punctuation: The locations where recitation should either stop or continue.
• Real-time use of the Izhar, Ikhfa, Idgham, and Iqlab rules.
• Detailed practice of Izhar-e-Shafawi, Ikhfa-e-Shafawi, and Idgham-e-Shafawi guidelines.
• A full Reading of the Qur’an from Surah Al-fatiha to Surah Annas (Khatam-e-Quran).

Requirements

The student must possess a solid foundation in Arabic vowels (including sukhoon, madd, tanween, shaddah) and the makharij (articulation points). Knowing how to join words is essential for these online Quran reading classes. Once done with this course, students are able to read Quran with correct pronunciation, ensuring their prayers and recitation are valid.
